The Scoop On Poop: Optimizing Gut Health For Your Dog

Thursday, December 14th – 6 pm Pacific time (9 pm Eastern)

Gut health is a hot topic in the veterinary community right now, for good reason! A growing body of evidence over the past several years suggests that, for both humans and animals, changes in the normal population of bacteria living in our intestinal tract can have far-reaching effects on health and wellness.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss the following:

  • How a healthy GI tract functions, and where things can go awry
  • Impact of gut microbiota on other body systems, with examples from recent clinical research
  • Prebiotics, probiotics, and other supplements
  • The evolving field of fecal analysis – how does it work, and is it useful?

There’s still a lot we don’t fully understand about the world of intestinal flora… but the more we learn about this complex biological system, the more effectively we’ll be able to troubleshoot problems when they arise. So join Dr. Jen for an in-depth discussion on everything you’ve ever wanted to know about your dog’s poop!
